The start of a new year is a great time for any organization to take stock, make assessments, celebrate successes, and focus on what we value, hope to accomplish, and all we have learned.

Our staff and volunteers have hosted many visitors from Canada and the United States. These visitors have partnered with us to deliver education, health initiatives, and loving spiritual care through our projects in come to Uganda for many reasons, some wanting to share their professional skills in medicine, pastoral care, and education, while others come to invest their time in the kids. They come to experience life in Uganda, and give to those who have so much less. Over the years so many have come back again and again because they cannot forget the people.

OTA”S work is focused on reaching out to those who feel forgotten. Our faith inspires us to serve, and minister to those in need. Countless volunteers have participated in delivering health care, education, and hope.  We believe we must act to give a voice to the voiceless. We tell their stories, empower them through education, and connect them to opportunities and services that will help to ease their burdens.

We are invested deeply in our relationships with the people we serve and work with. We know how much they matter to God, and we want to show them how much they matter to us. They are NOT forgotten.

If you are interested, but are not yet involved, we invite you to consider volunteering, sponsoring a child, or giving support through one of our projects.
