When Outreach to Africa’s students, Sheila and Ketisa, wrote their Primary 7 leaving examinations this past November they had been prepared well by their teachers at OTA’s Paul Devlin Academy.
The hard work and commitment of the girls, dedication of their teachers, and generosity of their sponsors have served them well. Both girls scored marks of distinction – 100-80%, which placed them in Division One.
The girls will now move on from their primary years, which were spent at Paul Devlin, to Nyakasura Secondary, one of Uganda’s most prestigious schools. OTA will continue to provide for Sheila and Ketsia’s education through the child sponsorship program.
Fort Portal’s Nyakasura School is known for it’s impressive alumni. It has a rich and impressive history, and is currently rated best in the district.
We are so proud of all our students, who worked so hard to prepare for their examinations. We commend the school’s leadership and teaching staff on their continued commitment to striving for excellence.
Congratulations Sheila and Ketsia!
Nyakasura School was recently featured by Uganda’s Daily Monitor newspaper, in an article written by Godfrey Mutegeka Araali.
