Trip #4 – 3+weeks in Uganda
This trip has been so many things for me…it reassured me that my friends here are FOREVER friends. I was reminded that we never know what God can or will do in our lives, where we will go, and how things will unfold.
I am thankful that for some crazy reason I landed in Uganda, and have returned so many times. I cannot explain with words just what this place, and the people I have come to know here mean to me. To share it all with Gina, who has been my friend since childhood, was truly a special gift. I hope to share it with others in the future, especially my family. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to spend our last 5 days in Uganda with my dear friend Evie, OTA’s founder. Evie is a truly wonderful woman, with a beautiful heart, and I am blessed to count her as a friend.
The best gift, and most treasured lessons my time in Uganda has given me is to embrace JOY, follow your dreams, to be grateful and always to cling to my faith. I am forever thankful!
